Possible caption for above: LeBron and Michael express shock and confusion (in that order) at rumors that they are a secret couple, and share jerseys.
Twitter was all aflutter today with allegations that LeBron was cruising for a Chicago crib with help from Michael Jordan, just a few blocks from the Bulls stadium.
Doesn’t that sound like the beginning of a bad joke?
“So LeBron James and Michael Jordan were picking out curtains one day …”
Turns out the joke’s on everyone who believed it, though, because even The Chicago Tribune admits there isn’t any truth to this tall tale. Oh, the punniness! You love it.
Don’t get me wrong. The L-train (dang you for nicknaming him that, Austin Carr) may still head to Chi-town. But at least for now, the two #23s were not on a realty waltz around Highland Park.
And in other Bulls news, despite murmurs that LeBron and Kentucky coach John Calipari are a package deal after July 1, word is that Chicago is not leaning toward hiring Calipari. The reasoning? Well, one former Bulls player says that Chicago’s GM would never hand over that much “demanding” power to one player.
So basically, the King is too big of a bully for the Bulls?
Carpe diem, Cleveland! Carpe the crap out of that diem.
