About LeBromageddon

LeBromageddon, for the intents and purposes of this blog, is the term used to describe the end of LeBron’s contract with the Cavaliers, and the corresponding end of all happiness in Cleveland. Why? Because everyone knows there was a direct causational relationship between LeBron’s proximity to Lake Erie and happiness.

The blog began as a countdown to July 1, when LeBron officially became a free agent and can negotiate with teams for a new contract.

But July 8 marked the day that will forever go down in sports history as LBJ Judgment Day, when LeBron uttered the now-infamous (and awkward) words: “I’ll be taking my talents to South Beach.” Talk about apocalyptastic.

Consequently, this blog is the attempt of one Cavs fan and once-upon-a-time LBJ devotee to aggregate and comment (sometimes bitterly) on the news, devastation,  surrounding LeBron’s devastating “Decision.”

Credit for the brilliance of the term “LeBromageddon” must go to Eric Knappenberger, otherwise known as @CavsWitness on Twitter, and possibly one of the biggest Cavaliers evangelists you could ever imagine. Thanks, Eric!
